We need to do more joint venture marketing, why? because it can be a golden opportunity to get you in front of more potential clients fast. In this post I’d like to share one simple idea that you can use this month. You may or may not have a professional relationship with an Accountancy business, that doesn’t really matter. The point is, this idea can be used with an existing referral partner or a potential referral partner.
Partner with an Accountant – they typically work with both individuals and small businesses (both segments need financial advice) and offer to host a client appreciation event. Your business pays for the event. You develop a relevant and engaging presentation that you deliver to the attendees of the event, you may even write the speech for the Accountant for them to give during the event. You offer your contact details at the end for those that found your presentation of interest. Ideally you would direct them to your website with a unique log in page for them to download your presentation or get access to other reports you may have written or videos of information, that way you can further educate them in the value of your advice.
This is a simple proven idea that can get you in front of ideal clients whilst also building your relationship with your professional alliance. Simple yet effective.
