We all know that the ideal client; the one that will take your advice, pay your fees and remain a client for years comes through others. Sure, there are other marketing activities that you can implement, but the one that works the best and doesn’t cost the earth is referral relationships. Whether that’s existing clients or other professional services businesses. However, I know through the work that I do with Financial Advisers that there is always an opportunity to improve the current referral relationships and seek new, more effective ones.
I want to roll my sleeves up and help you get better, more effective referral relationships so that you get more of the ideal clients into your business.
I’m offering a limited amount of Financial Advisers the opportunity to work with me one on one to develop your strategy and walk you through the implementation. This monthly coaching program will work for those that understand the importance of referral relationships and are ready to focus on this part of their business.
This is a month to month program, and you can stop at any time.
At the beginning [our first one or two sessions] we will talk about your strategy. What is your value proposition, your messaging and positioning. I’ll share with you what you need to write into your referral marketing strategy based on the information I gather from the first brainstorming session that we have. There will be some pre-work. I’ll send you a template to complete which will help me get a better understanding of your business faster so that our time together is productive.
Once the strategy is written, we can work through it together. Accountability and actions are the two words that might sound a bit ‘buzzy’, but when implemented correctly, get you the results you want, which are better referral relationships.
I will guide you as much as you need as we identify who, what, where and when for your referral partners. From the exact words to write in an email, letter or proposal through to what to say in the meetings. I’ll share with you a proven process that will make you feel confident and comfortable [again two buzz words that work!], so that you can meet and continue the engagement with a selection of referral partners.
For those existing referral relationships that might have gone a bit quiet, I’ll share strategies that work to re-invigorate them so that you remain top of mind, relevant and an essential asset to their business.
To summarise, we’ll work on the strategy first and then roll out the implementation together.
We’ll use Zoom to run our sessions that way we can see each other, share screens etc.
