Paul Meissner recently spent time with me explaining how he uses twitter to stay connected to his ideal clients. Paul reveals why and how he uses this one social media platform and the success it has given him.
In marketing we often talk about finding a ‘starving crowd’ and helping them solve their problems with our solutions. Knowingly or not, Paul has done just that. He knew who his ideal client was, what their problem was and how to solve it. He sought them out, built relationships and explained to them how his industry could help them. Not once did he sell his services rather position himself as a thought leader and encouraged his connections to seek professional advice ultimately resulting in them using his services – without him selling them.
